3.3 Civiel may decline to review Submissions that do not comply with required formats, exceed file limits, or fall outside our publishing scope.
3.4 You grant Civiel a temporary licence to store, review, and assess your Submission. This licence ends when the review process is concluded unless a publishing agreement is signed.
4. Publishing Agreements
4.1 All accepted works are subject to a separate written publishing contract outlining rights, royalties, timelines, exclusivity, marketing, and distribution.
4.2 No verbal or implied arrangements constitute a publishing offer.
5. Purchases & Services
Where Civiel sells books, digital products, or services (such as editorial packages):
• UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies to all paid services.
• Refunds for digital products are limited to cases of technical fault or failure to supply.
• Editorial services are non-refundable once work has commenced.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 All trademarks, brand names, designs, and written content appearing on this website belong to Civiel or its licensors.
6.2 No licence is granted for commercial use without explicit written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Civiel is not liable for:
